Marketing Advisor, Mac Berns, and EasyCMS Product Specialist, Kristen Oldyn, developed the above guerilla-marketing tactic and featured it at this month’s Chamber Business After Hours booth at the Holiday Inn in Fargo. Two Absolute employees dressed up as live shadow figures, in full-body spandex suits, and held iPad “conversations” with attendees to inform them on our new EasyCMS product.
We wanted to stand out from the pack. And did we ever!
When asked about people’s reactions, Berns said, “We had decent booth traffic throughout the entire event. Many people were shocked and stared. Many people came up to the men in black to engage in a conversation via iPad. Some people took photos. One person commented to me that they were still talking about us the next day.”
