Absolute Marketing Group took home the night’s most coveted award at the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota’s ADDY Awards in February. The annual ADDY awards is part of a three-tier competition aimed at awarding the very best in creative advertising. Absolute received this prestigious award at the local competition which covers the entire state of North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. The Best of Show award is given to the most creative advertising piece across any of the 70 plus categories judged at the competition.

Absolute Marketing Group developed a multi-page spread for Moorhead’s own 99 Bottles – a new liquor store which opened in 2010. The ad honored and parodied the song “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall” in its entirety across several pages of The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead and completed the song with a quarter page ad introducing the brand.

The judges that honored Absolute Marketing Group with this award were comprised of advertising professionals from across the nation. During the awards show, they praised Absolute for creating a high-impact, highly creative ad that was simple, cost-effective and true to the newspaper media.
