Position Overview

As a Multi-Media Account Executive at Absolute Studios, you won’t be boxed into selling one station, one signal, or one solution. You’ll have the freedom to build the right strategy for your clients across broadcast, digital, print, and emerging channels — without being handcuffed to inventory quotas or internal mandates.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Build and own your book of business — developing relationships that go beyond transactions and into true partnerships.
  • Uncover what clients actually need — then design solutions without being limited to a single platform.
  • Pitch and close fully integrated campaigns across:
    • Broadcast television + cable
    • Broadcast radio
    • Digital (streaming, video, display, social, programmatic)
    • Outdoor billboards + indoor signage
    • Newspapers & magazines
    • Direct mail + email marketing
    • Podcast production + distribution
  • Operate with autonomy to structure campaigns that drive real results, not just fill airtime.
  • Lead with strategy, not inventory — recommending what’s best for the client, not what needs to be sold.
  • Collaborate with a full in-house creative and strategy team to bring ideas to life at a high level.
  • Own the outcome — tracking performance, optimizing campaigns, and proving ROI.
  • Compete hard, win business, and take pride in building something that’s yours.
  • Represent Absolute Studios in networking events and community presentations

Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)

  • 5+ years in media sales — likely in television, radio, or a digital media company.
  • You know how to pitch — and you want your solutions to match your clients’ real priorities.
  • Proven closer with a track record of hitting and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Deep understanding of both traditional and digital media landscapes.
  • Highly charismatic — people trust you, follow you, and buy from you.
  • Fiercely competitive — winning isn’t optional, it’s expected.
  • Frustrated (in a good way) with limitations, quotas, and being told what you have to sell.
  • Ready to take control of your pipeline, your strategy, and your earning potential.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you don’t need to be micromanaged to perform.
