Just announced, we have a full-time opening for a Graphic Production Specialist.  It’s a unique “best of both worlds” situation where you’d be part of a 20-member marketing agency team while working on-site at a non-profit organization.

Position Overview

The graphic production specialist is a hybrid position with primary time spent on a single nonprofit client’s projects. Our graphic production specialist is responsible for resizing and adapting existing marketing materials as well as developing new brand assets.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works under the chief creative officer to complete assigned projects and campaigns
  • Performs a multitude of graphic design tasks
  • Manages print project templates
  • Ability to preflight print projects for optimal print quality and to size specifications required
  • Updates web pages
  • Confer with leadership to resolve problems or questions
  • Execute project work plans on time
  • Revise workflow priorities as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Strive to meet goals and assist others in accomplishing their goals
  • Maintains high skill levels in software programs required to perform assigned job functions; takes training in the use of new software as the agency requires.
  • Assists in archiving and maintaining digital files, photography, illustrations, video files, logo art, typestyles, historical collateral samples, etc., of client materials and resources.
  • Maintains current computer software skills compatible with the needs of other team members.
  • Maintains internal and off-site digital file backups for in-progress jobs; uploads completed project files to agency Digital Asset Management archive system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field
  • Knowledge of agency-caliber production processes, including design, print and web
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite applications – specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat (preflighting tools)
  • Commercial digital press/printer experience required, along with various bindery equipment
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and various theme building and web editing tools.
  • Five years experience as a graphic designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
  • Strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
  • Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
